Although Ainge hasn't drafted any "superstars" he does have a solid draft history since he took over as Boston exec in 2003.

2004, Pick 15 - Al Jefferson (Solid rotation player)
2004, Pick 25 - Drafted Tony Allen (would consider him a defensive superstar)
2010, Pick 19 - Avery Bradley (Solid rotation player)
2012, Pick 21 - Jared Sullinger (Solid rotation player)

The only Top 10 pick Boston has had since 2008 was 2014 when the Celtics drafted Marcus Smart at 6 and he's developing very nicely; just needs work on his perimeter shooting.

He's a decent drafter. Not many home runs, but he misses far less than most GM's. Some other notable picks:

2006, Pick 21 - Rajon Rondo (multiple-time All Star)
2007, Pick 32 - Glen Davis (solid rotation piece on contender/championship winner)
2011, Pick 55 - Etwaun Moore (solid bench player, did a commendable job in Chi-Town this year)
2013, Pick 13 - Kelly Olynyk (Very solid rotation piece)

my favorite second round pick by ainge was powe. if his knees had held up he would have been a very nice rotation player.

Sorry. Not much of a list, considering the OP is theorizing - based on no available evidence - that Ainge can draft a champion. Not happening.

Maybe Bradley is a keeper out of that list. Beyond that, it's decidedly mediocre when you're relying on a point guard who can't shoot and won't play defense as your BPD - best player drafted.

He's been in the lottery twice. He's had 0 top 3 picks and he's gotten all Jefferson and Rajon Rondo.

Ofcourse Ingram or Simons would be awsome but they say this draft is not deep after them two I disagree. I'm gonna list a few prospects that I think have a shot at being the next big think in the NBA.

Buddy Hield - G/F
Jamal Murray - G/F
Jayden Brown - SF
Timothe Luwawu - G/F
Skal Labissiere - F/C
Marquess Chris's - PF

These are some really good options. I'd be happy drafting either Buddy Hield/Jayden Brown/Jamal Murray with the Brooklyn pick and packaging our own with the Dallas pick to move up and draft Marquess Chriss/Timothe Luwawu/Skal Labissiere.

My ideal 1st round would be (Jamal Murray) and (Marquess Chriss) that would be a success IMO...

The OP seems to be saying that getting a star doesn't necessarilly mean drafting a top recruit. There are lots of examples of guys dafted 4-10 that wind up leading teams to championships. If the Celtics wind up slipping down the lottery but they draft intelligently, they could still come away with a Mike Conley (4th), Kevin Love (5th), Brandon Roy (6th), Curry (7th), or any number of other all stars taken farther down.

That said, I'd like the #1 pick.
