Danny has brought in a number of mid-west big men during past summer leagues (not lately). They all stunk.  I think that is why he might be think twice before selecting one. Then again, I doubt any of the previous centers had games where they had 32 pts 12 rebounds 6 blocks during their careers.

3 time All Defensive Team in the Big Ten.
Defensive Player of the Year for the Big Ten this year.

Not hyping his value, but being a good defensive player in a good basketball conference is worth taking a shot.

For one of the second round picks? Absolutely.
