Okafor with Nets pick, or Hammons with the 76ers pick

  Interesting backup plan if we are looking for an Okafor type without paying such a high price.

 AJ Hammons is clearly not as talented and he's 23 years old and his Max potential in the NBA is playing about 24 minutes a game like Sully.

 Now for the positives. He's a 7 foot 280 pound monster with a 7'3" wingspan. He shoots 75% from the free throw line and in. Great footwork just a little slow.
 He nailed two three today and shoots with very good form. He's also a better shot blocker than Okafor probably will struggle with Pick and roll defense though. Solid Ft shooter .720%this year.

 Avg almost 15ppg 8rpg 2.5 bpg in 24 mins.

 Per 40 24 ppg 14rpg 4.3 bpg

 Hammons does have game, but appears to only be able to play half the game.

 Aj is projected to be the 39th pick in the draft so obviously we could attain him this year.

Chose latter option as I'm jumping off the Okafor bandwagon
I don't see Okafor being that good of a C anymore

His floor is good as a solid starter
But I don't really think he'll develop into a great C like a demarcus cousins

 Okafor is an awesome offensive force, there is a ton of things he can do that most bigs will never be able to.
 However you have to commit to using his skills and it's a lot to give up. Hammons would provide inside scoring and better rim protection for pennies on the dollar, plus we get to draft Brown, Bender, hopefully Ingram and keep our core intact.
