Mistake of the day, I watched the Jazz game, yikes!!!  Celtics couldn't do anything right. two pointers, three pointers, free throws, nothing was falling. they were flat, too much time off is my guess.

Living in California and not having League Pass, I was excited to discover that the Cs were on national TV.

And I'm so glad that THIS was a game I got to see and that I got to watch every painful minute of it!

There were so many Boston highlights, I don't know where to start!

  • Some great 3-point shooting!
  • Incredible layup work!
  • Fantastic free-throw shooting!
  • Suffocating perimeter defense!
  • Even better interior defense!
  • And I can't forget the latest example of the classic "Celtics get schooled by some no-name player": Raul Neto—he of the 6-points-per-game average—going off for 7 in the first quarter and ending up with 15. Awesome!

It's so impressive that Boston pulled this off despite having only a weeklong break and only 2 whole days in Utah to get ready for this game—unlike the pathetic Jazz, who looked like they'd played the night before, all the way across the country in DC, and got back into Utah at like 3 a.m. Slobs.

Oh. Wait. That really is what the Jazz did. And yet they managed to shoot around 60% for most of the game. And get into the paint at will.

SMH.

Two important numbers :
- 18 assists
- 34 rebounds
That sums it up.

Very much like the Nets beating . Celtics looked awful.

Nets may suck , but they come to play every night ......or at least Lopez seems to have decided to actually give a rats behind finally and I'm sur it's self motivated ......not for the good of the team .

Are the Celtics the worst 3pt shooting team in the league?

No, but it's close...they're the 5th worst at 33.6%.

Its the All-Star break. San Antonio lost and looked slow their first game. Golden State got schooled for a night. Toronto lost on the road and OKC lost at home. Of the top three teams in each conference, only the Cavs won their first game after the break. And a pathetic team like the Nets won. Its gotta be the All-Star break being to long and knocking good teams out of the rhythm they had established.

Was the AS break longer than usual this year? I don't remember it being basically a whole week.

Yeah it usually would resume on like the Tuesday after the ASB, but it started Thursday this year. And for our sakes, Friday.
