Definitely Marcus Smart. He reminds of one of my favorite players- Gary Payton.

1st is Marcus Smart. I love Defense.

2nd is Jae Crowder is pretty cool to watch too.

3rd is Evan Turner (when he's not making bonehead passes/turnovers). I like his herky-jerky midrange game that makes all the analytical types rage but somehow almost always works.

4th is IT. I get it. He can dribble into a crowd, throw up a layup and have it go in at insane speeds with insane speed changes. That's pretty cool, just not as electrifying as the previous 3 players.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

Thomas because he's by far our best player!  He can go from long distance, mid range or take you to the rack.

Marcus Smart. Rarely saw any PG with that combination of strength, length and defensive IQ. But his competitiveness makes it #1 on my fav Celtic list of today. Love when he battles against players from the size of Russell Westbrook, to Leonard/Lebron to Porzingis (he gives up about 1' of size.

P.S. In the match against the Lakers in December, I never saw Kobe Bryant struggle to post up someone like he did with Smart.

Im surprised everyone is so enamored with Smart. On defense he's a bulldog, but man he's tough to watch on offense. He jacks so many unnecessary 3s and his release is so ugly. For someone so thick and athletic, he should be trying to do his best Westbrook impersonation. He seems soft on offense.

A Westbrook impression of any kind requires a fantastic first step and excellent explosion to the rim, two qualities Smart doesn't have.  I think we should hope for a Billups or latter day Baron Davis impression.

I think everybody loves watching him best because when he does have a good game, it rekindles the excitement that he could blossom into a star.  Perceived potential is the next best thing to actual dominance.  It's why people were still getting excited whenever Jeff Green had a big game up until the day he was traded.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.
