Last year we got some good players at picks 28 and 33, 16 not so much lol.

This year with are own pick and the Dallas pick throw in Phiilys pick and there are very nice options all over the second half of the first round.

I think I'm more interested in these selections than the boring options at three through five.

NBA draft. Net board these are guys I'd like to add.

 #28 Aj Hammond's 7' Center
#27 Dwayne Bacon dynamic athlete, scorer
#25 Caris Levert huge, long, athletic off guard
#24 Denzel Valentine triple double machine
#22 Henry Ellenson he will go higher no doubt
 #21 Grayson Allen Slasher, Scorer
 #19 Zimmerman center Unlv
#18 Justin Jackson SF good shooter, scorer

My favorite guys are #21-#28 this early in the process things are looking up on the back end. It's the top of the draft that concerns me.

 Also Draft Express has

#38 Buddy Hield I literally can't believe this.
Senior guard exploded this year with 25ppg 5.3 RPG, get this shooting .515%fg .529%3p .900%ft

And he's 6'5" with a 6'9" wingspan and he's a plus athlete. If you haven't checked him out you should. He's a hell of a player.

#31 Malik Newman highly regarded freshman

#27 Sabonis solid big guy, good rebounder.

#41 Kahlil Felder super midget, avg 27ppg 9apg

Lots of options in this draft.

If I could trade out of the top slot and add,

 Caris Levert
 Buddy Hield
 Denzel Valentine
 Greyson Allen

We wouldn't have to look for any more Shooting guards or Small Forwards for a long time lol. These guys can all handle, shoot, rebound and Pass.

Ok I'd probably kick one guy out and draft a Center like Damion Jones, but I like all these kids, and there all good character kids as well.

So far it looks to be a better draft than 2013, but worse than 2014 and 2015. Certainly not an extremely deep draft and the international class was thought to be especially weak this year.

I'm much more interested in what's available with a lock top 3-8 pick than mid-firsts. Not a great draft to have as many picks as we do, but the college BB season is just starting conference play. We'll see how real Simmons is when he plays a team in the top 70 for instance, but there has already been a couple of sliders and there's bound to be a bunch of risers over the next 3 months.

Other thoughts on the depth of this draft.
