Can't shoot and struggles to finish inside.

I like him a lot, but i think it's worth mentioning some
Weaknesses
I agree

Maybe you're both reading off his preseason DraftExpress video which said the same thing,  It's wrong on his shooting as currently his TS% is 53.8%, which is better than average for the NBA, and his TS% was 54.6% last year. 3FG% is 35% which is a tad better than IT and he shot 35.1% last year. He has, however, raised his FG% at the rim from 57% last year to 62% this season, which is better than any of our guards except ET and he's very capable of dunking on any drive. I'd expect he could raise both stats easily enough as there's nothing wrong with his shot and he won't get as many defenses designed to shade and double him in the pros. When doubled, he is very good at getting the ball to the open man unlike our guards. Can also create his own shot unlike AB or MS and he takes over games unlike anyone but IT on our squad.

Bigger problem was he was too aggressive/sloppy with his passing resulting in TOs, but he has improved in that area too. He takes over games unlike anyone on our squad other than IT and unlike most college PGs. Right now I don't see any real weakness in his game unlike just about any player that comes into the NBA.  I have just started watching college ball for this season, but the Big East is a top conference with 3 of the top 4 teams in RPI and he's without peer there. Does not mean he is a lock, but he is an impressive 2-way player. I would certainly consider him unless there is a top SF available to fill a bigger position of need that can shoot from outside and inside and can defend, because that’s what Dunn can do.

I don't think you need a pure shooter to run the Point. You need a floor general who can distribute, get to the rim and distribute, great from the line and can make an occasional 3 pointer.

Smart is not a true point. He has a lot of Jimmy Butler in him. Attacks the rim and plays hard D. Rozier? to me he plays slow on offense.

I take Dunn in a second if Simmons is gone

I like Dunn, but another combo guard with a shaky jumper?  Really?
