James Young and Jordan Mickey are the players inactive in Boston's roster list released by the NBA (Olynyk can't play the first match because of suspension). As expected. From what we saw in the preseason, Rozier and Hunter have a better chance to crack the rotation.
Philadelphia has 3 players inactive: Embiid, Landry and Wroten.

Once Olynyk comes back I wouldn't be surprised if Rozier becomes inactive.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Already behind two rookies ouch. To be fair though Young is still younger and less experienced than Rozier and Hunter. He's a project that will see significant dleague time again this year.

Believe you can dress 13, so Young and Mickey would probably still be inactive(even when KO comes back)--and probably in short time on their way to Maine.

You are correct. TP

I bet they dress Young for the first game.

I thought KO will be considered dressed in order to serve that suspension? That means we can't dress 2 and Young is one of them. Doesn't dressed mean the same as active? I mean they wouldn't let you dress a 13th player in case of injuries if they are inactive and can't play. You can't change that status once the game has started.

I actually feel bad for Mickey, he may have been the best rookie or at least right with Rozier but there are a lot of good players in his position. He deserves minutes as much/more than all rookies and Young. Young actually got a fair shake and is still losing out.

I don't believe this is how it works.  You can serve a suspension as long as you're otherwise healthy enough to play.  Suspended just means you can't be placed on the active roster for the game (you're ineligible to play).  The Celts should still be able to have 13 guys ready to go in the game, though I doubt that many will actually play, regardless.

With that said, it would follow that either Young or Mickey will be active in the first game, though they'll probably be inactive once KO has served his suspension.

Mickey is better served playing in Maine than sitting on the end of the bench and only playing in blowouts.

Actually, if I remember correctly, suspended players are not even allowed in the building.

That's obvious and not my point, my point is he got a bad shake b/c of the players ahead of him, not that he should be active just to sit there. He has to be the one inactive because of the bigs on the team, but he deserves pt as much/more than the other 2 rookies/Young if there wasn't so many ahead of him.

That's why I responded that I felt bad for him and not as bad for Young because Young has had his chances and Mickey has not. That's not knocking Young as I want him to do good and he was my second choice from that draft at the pick.

He probably will be when everyone is healthy.  D-League doesn't start until November 12th tho, so it'll be a couple weeks.
