Dennis Rodman must have driven the OP nuts. Not only crazy hair, but changes every few weeks. LOL

I was pretty much expecting my original post to come across wrong. I am not sure how to confer my thoughts correctly, but I am not "judging". To me, that stuff just suggests that he is not fully focused on his craft.

I do not remember - but I could be wrong - any established greats with these type of quirky looks. Jordan, Kobe, KG, Pippen, Magic, Ray, PP, Bird, Duncan, ...

Even Rodman was a DPOY and, if I recall correctly, a champion before the crazy looks came.

I think youre just really out of touch with hair styles now a days.  fauxhawks are very common among athletes now, and theres plenty of people that have bleached them before marcus smart.

not only that, but it takes 20 minutes to get a hair cut and maybe what? another hour to bleach it.  how is that taking away from his dedication to his craft??  Its a hair cut.  Hes not starting a reality TV series and appearing on celebrity games shows every week

I'm fine with being out of touch and don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Smart. That's why I made the comment.

Refs call more fouls on guys with weird hair.
Like Olynyk.

Hopefully by 2029, when the Celtics are chasing banner 22, we'll have a thread titled: "Marcus Smart's Heir" and be worrying about the next great Celtics point guard. This is just a precursor of things to come.
