That liberty ballers article is pretty interesting. It makes a reference to what they did with Andre K. However, I couldn't find exactly what they did other than just trade him and have him never play. Did he want to be cut/bought out and they refused? What exactly happened there that could have been illegal.
I guess the biggest more serious takeaway from this all is that if agents and players really do feel like the 76ers are bad to deal with it could really hurt their negotiations or chances of getting a free agent around the line.
