Does anyone think he would be around at 16?  I don't think it is likely, would anyone want to trade up for him?
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

Ehh, the similarity argument can be used here, and as a player KO already does good things statistically, so I don't see much of an improvement in that area. As for is he going to drop to 16, it is a bigger chance that than that of the chance Turner or SJ falling to us.

A solid pick if available. He is much tougher than Olynyk who with Sully may be gone. I like KO for Gorgui Dieng If t-wolves takes Towns

In a word...no.

I'm not gonna pretend like I know a lot about the draft.  I'm not the biggest college basketball fan anyway.  But I do know that Frank Kaminsky is the only player that would actually make me legitimately upset to be seen drafted by the Cs.  He seems like a less athletic clone of Kelly Olynyk and is the type of player that this team just doesn't need right now.

That's not to say he won't be a good player.  But he's not what we need.

He doesnt fill a need for us, and his upside is not huge, BUT, if he's the best player on the board at 14 we have to take him. He looks like a tougher, more skilled version of KO imo, and to be honest, lack of toughness and assertiveness is KO's biggest problem so far.

Frank Kaminsky would be an excellent bench player for a team that already has a solid starting lineup but is in need of quality depth.  The Hawks, Cavaliers, Bulls and Rockets come to mind.  Because of his well-rounded offensive skill set and high level of motivation, I expect Frank to have a long, productive career as an NBA role player. However, he's not what the Celtics need at this stage in their building process.

I'd be interested in Kaminsky or Turner.  Leave it up to DA to pick which one assuming we have to trade up to 10/11 to get one or the other. To me that's where the 3rd tier of talent starts in this draft and I like those two more than Johnson, Dekker, Payne, Oubre, Lyles, and Portis.
