Why are people listing Upshaw for Young? The guy is probably going to be available with our 28th pick, and I wouldn't be shocked at all if he dropped to 33. Trading Young for him would be a terrible idea. If they really want him, they could probably package 28 and 33 to move up a few spots to snatch him if necessary.

For Smart, I'd definitely do Towns or Okafor.   I don't think I'd trade him for anyone else in this draft.

I'd probably trade James Young for any of the following (likely lottery picks):

Towns, Okafor, Mudiay, Russell, Winslow, Cauley-Stein, Hezonja, Johnson, Porzingis, Kaminsky, Turner, Lyles, Oubre, Portis, Dekker

I don't know enough about most of the prospects in this year's draft, but of the one's I do, I would definitely trade Smart for Justice Winslow. I think Winslow has a very good chance to end up as the best player from this draft. The kid really just seems to have the "it" factor.

Yeah, I agree on Winslow.  That kid's gonna be good . . . based on the same qualities that are going to make Marcus Smart really good; competitiveness, toughness, attitude, drive . . .

Like Marcus Smart, I believe Justise Winslow's chances of being an A+++ level superstar are limited, but the chances of him being a very, very, very good player a la, say, Jimmy Butler or Kawhi Leonard are fairly decent in my book.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I think people are letting the media hype get them on Winslow and Upshaw. Winslow had a good tourney, but I watched a lot of him during the regular season, he's got holes in his game. If Winslow didn't have a good tourney he'd be a late lottery pick, and Upshaw at most is a late first round pick even if he didn't get kicked out of Washingtons program. That being said, I'd package Smart for a top three pick, and Young for a lottery pick. Yes, Young might have been a top ten pick this year, but you could have said that with a few guys last year, and the way Kentucky rotated players this year I'm not sure what kind of numbers he would have put up. I doubt Young and the sixteenth gets you into the top ten this year.

Smart is untouchable, as for Young I would trade him and a Brooklyn pick + 28th to move up to 8th  pick to secure whoever is left from the second tier of prospects.

I think I'd only trade Smart for Towns, although part of that is just the emotional attachment I have for him.

Young I'd probably trade for any of the top 9 prospects. Despite a poor first season, he's still a better gamble from a raw potential perspective than anyone who gets picked in the teens this year.

I would only trade Smart for the rights to D'Angelo Russell. I think he's going to be big time, makes good decisions on the court, and basically just strives off trying to be the smartest player on the floor.

Smart, on the other hand, brings the prodigious level Russell displays on offense to the defensive end, he's a threat to disrupt the other team's play every possession. So It would be an even exchange.... at least in my mind.

James Young I would trade for the right to somebody like Kelly Oubre, I honestly think all the tangibles are present with Oubre, he can finish at the rim, which is a skill that Young has to develop if he ever hopes to reach his potential.

I would trade Smart for Okafor, and Towns. That is it.

I would trade young for those two, Russell, Mudiay, Porzingis, Winslow, Johnson, Turner, and WCS.
