Hi, I'm not sure which board to put this on here. Mods feel free to move it.

I'm just learning about Roku, XBMC and Plex and I'm wondering if anyone here uses them to watch Celtics games. Either live or on delay.

Where I live there are no copyright laws so I have just been downloading the games but the problem is that I only get the home teams broadcasters. I'm really hoping XBMC or Plex will let me watch games on delay with the celtics announcers.

Also, generally speaking does anyone have opinions of XBMC vs Plex?

I use Ballstreams. I pay for it, but it's been worth it. Ballstreams has a Plex app and Roku app. I've had little to no issues with Ballstreams on Roku. Can watch any NBA game, can select which commentators I want to listen to 90% of the time, can start the game late if I want to, etc. Only got it because Dish dropped CSN, and I had no other option to watch the Celtics because of blackouts on League Pass. Wouldn't usually support something like Ballstreams, but professional sports leagues are dumb with their blackouts so meh. I would have paid for League Pass if I could actually use it for the C's without a proxy or some dumb workaround.

Ballstreams has an "invite" system, but it's not from the users like me. You just sign up and the website owners usually send out an email with an invite within a week...dunno if they still send invites out mid-season, but most of the people I know that use Ballstreams haven't had an issue getting an invite.

Here is a really dumb question. I have looked quite a bit but I can't find an answer. With Roku can you flip through channels like you can with the old cable TV? Can you just flip through until you find something good or do you have to flip through titles and stuff and click if it looks interesting.

Also, for NBA games on roku it looks easy enough via the youtube videos. But they all say live games. I live in China and dont want to watch the games live, does anyone know if there is a way to get them later? Also, can you get them shortly after? I usually want to watch the games about 3 or 4 hours after they aired.
