Sorry he's hurt , I'm a Sully fan.  But .....he really needs to take care of himself ......he needs to stand in mirror and just be honest with himself .

He needs to lose about 35 pds of fat .  And get a personal trainer ......

Awful to see a kid let himself go like this with so,much at sake

I feel like this really hurts our playoff chances.

Zeller will see more minutes and you will see a ton more small ball lineups with Crowder and possibly Jerebko until Kelly gets back at which time I expect him to start alongside Bass.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Sully out and KO in.

I wonder if CBS will start Zeller/Bass or KO/Zeller or KO/Bass

KO is still out from recent reports.

Not this Fri but he will be back soon.  Likely before the end of this month

Too bad for Sully, they will miss his scoring and rebounding. He was just starting to be a leader.

On the other side of the coin this will give Olynlk a chance to step up and show he can play consistence ball or not.

Turner should be the SF much more of the time, Zeller at C, and Bass or Kelly at PF. I would say good by playoffs, for those that care.

I'm disapppinted for Sully, but I'm excited for a Zeller-Thomas pick-and-roll game.  So we'll get to see a bit more of that, with Bass on the pick-and-pop.  Could be some fun offense.

Hmmmm. One more injury like this and the tank may be (unintentionally) back on.   ;D

I think now we know why Bass wasn't moved at the trade deadline.
Jaylen Brown will be an All Star in the next 5 years.

Not sure if this has been brought up, but if DA knew Sully was hurt and KO still out, he really had to hold on to Bass at the deadline.  For was there just no value out there for him

Sully needs to sit out the rest of the season.  Rehab, get fit, and lose weight.  If he comes back out of shape, he's just going to get hurt again.

This is what really disappoints me about Sully.  KO came in with a more sculpted body, more muscle, and improved play and confidence.  Sully was just Sully again.  If Sully would ever get serious about his conditioning he would look like a real starting 4 in this league.

man if he wants an NBA career long term , he better get down around 250-260, he has to be around 285

Or it could have nothing to do with weight.  Jrue Holiday and Bradley Beal have both had chronic lower leg stress issues, and they're not Sully-sized.  Just as some examples.
It could, but it's not likely. Stress fractures are about applying more force to the bone than it can handle, and while it's not necessary for you to be overweight for this to happen, it  certainly  helps.

Forget it, he'll show up 300 lbs again next season, and we'll hear again how the poor thing didn't have a full healthy offseason so he couldn't lose weight. Too bad we couldn't ship him out while he had actual trade value.

You mean the guy who said he isn't going to play in the NBA for the remainder of this season?

I want to see if we will run more.   Zeller can run, Bass can run, Turner and Smart can run, AB can run, Thomas and Jerebko can run.   Be interesting to see how we do.   Sully is productive but he cannot play D or run at a high level.

I think your spot on in this assessment,  TP.   It will be more critical for him to watch his weight with the injury.   I do not see it happening.  If you can't lose weight during the season with playing all the time the odds of slim he will do in a boot.   In fact, they are slim to none.

The worse part will be the inane excuses that people will make for him.  When in fact, a lot of his problems stem from choices that he has control over like what exercise he does or what he eats.   But I am sure they will be pointing at the injury which may have even been exacerbated by his weight as a reason he is even more of a doughboy.
