So there are two different rumors out there. Boston has had talks about Ty Lawson, Boston is going after DeMarcus Cousins with Karl willing to deal him because he wants to get a faster offense a la the one he had in Denver.

So given there is no chance we land both Ty Lawson and DeMarcus Cousins, lets combine the rumors and give Karl what he wants.

Ty Lawson/Faried to Sacramento
Cousins/Wilson Chandler to Boston
Wallace, Sullinger, MacLemore, maybe one more prospect (stauskus/young?) and bunch of picks to Denver.

That looks pretty awful for Sacramento, but then again that would be so Kings of them.

So Sacramento is giving up the only good things they have for Lawson and Faried?

Gotta do it. If we can do it without giving up Smart then do it all week and twice on Sunday. Boogie would terrify the East, and would be a great young player to build around. I mean if Danny could turn this slew of draft picks and expiring contracts into guys like Boogie and Lawson then you have to go for the home run. Even if we don't end up with Lawson and get Karl his PG from Denver to Sactown go for it. Please would finally be a trade deadline worth something for us!

Lawson and Smart in the backcourt might be interesting.

But if you were going to do that, why not just start Thorton?
