I'd probably place 20% of the blame on the coaching.   The primary reasons for this team's performance do not lay in the coaching;  its in the personnel they have, the lack of an interior defense, and an ineffective half court offense that lacks a primary scorer type.

Stevens is the least of my concerns right now.
