I think big al is a good measure, they are similarly gifted players with similar styles.
Monroe was seen as having a higher defensive ceiling in his draft scouting reports and has yet to reach Al's production.
I think he'll match Al's offensive numbers and if he gets in the right system he'll be a better defender.
Add the loony inflation that seems to be the NBA norm I'd say he gets $14-16m.
And I'd be fine with that.
