As I've seen throughout the forums, many of you don't condone Danny's pick of him, so here's a good extensive read about his life, past and mentality. I got chills from reading it. Enjoy:

When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

I think we got ourselves a future all-star.

I think there are some who would view that background as more of a negative than a positive factor in his bid to succeed as an NBA basketball player.

He has shown every sign of that rare, obsessive, competitive trait, which is rarely seen in modern era players. He is both humbler and tenacious, both hardworking and a bit cocky. Attitude reminds me of a young Kobe.

I like his demeanor a lot as well.
