At pick 17 I was rooting for Adrian Payne, Kyle Anderson, or James Young

Look, this draft was so deep that there was a lot of potential for the rich to get richer.  Shabazz to the Heat is a steal IMO as well.
Truuuuuuuuuth!

No matter who the Spurs picked, someone would have written this. Perhaps rightly- the Spurs have basically proven that they're probably smarter than any of us.

That said, I wasn't too happy with the James Young pick, but I was relieved that it wasn't Kyle Anderson or Jordan Adams. I hate watching great college players who can't hang in the NBA because they aren't quick enough. It reminds me too much of my own mortality.

Heck, even Fab Melo would have been an impact player had he played for Pop (or i may be wrong)
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

At pick 17 my list was:

Young
Anderson
Napier

There's a reason the Spurs have racked up the 50-win + seasons consistently.

Anderson was totally undervalued

Anderson or Napier would have made me very happy. I see another bad team coming next year, but Philly's blatant tanking and asset stocking is beating the C's at that game.

I didn't see the draft after we picked #17. I'll admit was surprised when I saw the completed list that Anderson went so low. I was thinking he'd be about at least 10 places higher. If I was Anderson i'd be over the moon at dropping so far!

Steal maybe, but either way a great situation for Anderson. I wouldnt have taken him at #17 but was hoping the Cs got a late first for him. He will develop into a great fit in SA

Yeah, he seems like the most perfect "fit" in the draft, matching up skill set to a franchise's system.
