LOL!

THE WESTCHESTER KNICKS!??!

I guess the Knicks, and Sixers can join in harmonious ceremony for having two D-League teams.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

That's as hilarious as a major league baseball team having a AAA affiliate with the same nickname.

Am I missing something?  Teams do this all the time, in all sports.  The Red Sox have the Pawtucket Red Sox, the Yankees have the Tampa Yankees and the Staten Island Yankees.  The Bruins Have the Providence Bruins.  Personally I prefer it so that when you are watching a minor league game you know who's prospects you are watching.

Another one to add to your list, the Chicago Cubs AAA affiliate is the Iowa Cubs. They actually make a lot of money for a AAA team.

The really odd thing is that they play in Madison Square Garden, against actual NBA teams.
