They have us taking Embiid at 4 (Magic takes Exum at 3) and Young at 17.

Is anyone else as ecstatic about this possibility? Or do you not think they'll work out for the Celtics?

I would be estatic with Embiid at 4 but I see no possible chance of that happening.

I would be half-happy! Excited about Embiid and disappointed because of Young. I see a lot of JR Smith in him.

Anyone of the TJ, Doug, Anderson, Hood, Stauskas, Hairston, McDaniels lot + Embiid and will celebrate as if I just had a child born.

Y'all are laughing, but it's sad. I go home and deny the wing."

I don't trust B/R.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

If Embiid misses the entire NCAA tournament, I think it will definitely affect his draft stock.  I don't think he falls past 3 though.

I don't see Embiid making it past pick 3, especially if it's Orlando has that pick. They desperately need a big who can protect the rim. They also need a point guard but they'll also have another lottery pick to take care of that need.

As for James Young, despite his terrible year, he's a shooter whose actually got some defensive potential too. Should stay in college another year but I wouldn't mind if the C's picked him up and stashed him in the D-League for a year.

I'd be happy and scared if we got Embiid.  happy for obvious reasons but scared something was found with his back that scares off teams that could use an athletic young center with lots of upside.

If Embiid drops to 4, you almost have to take him barring some catastophic medical report (and assuming Wiggins/Parker are gone which they will be).

Embiid dropping the way Sullinger did due to back concerns might be the best thing that could happen to us in this draft. We'll see- there's going to be a lot more info about Embiid's health in the next few months, it's impossible to guess right now

Yeah, at worst, I think he drops to #4 and that's because someone nabs Exum based on need more than anything.

With James Young I heard an announcer say he is the worst passer in the conference.  Lol no thanks.

Interesting having Exum over Embiid now but it makes sense in terms of fit.

MIL and PHI need superstars at the wings and already have young centers (Sanders, Noel) and ORL could use Exum at pg next to Olopido and Afflalo (maybe) and also have a center in Vucevic.

That leaves us with no. 4 and Embiid. Assuming the Lakers don't steal that spot. Honestly I'm getting nervous about that 4 spot since us and about 3-4 other teams are in the race for it.

Like BR said, is Embiid's injury a recurring thing or a one time set back? Wish we knew
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.
