Well our management and ownership are leagues and bounds above where they were back then.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

I think it depends on your definition of the word "competitive". I wouldn't put any of those teams pre-2002 (when Grousbeck & co bought the team) under that umbrella.
