good player but won't put us over the top.  he's a piece you add once you have your big pieces in place.

This.  I don't see that guy responding well to a rebuilding situation.  Him and Indiana are good match.

Well the plan would be that he's grown up in the last 3 years and that an organization like Indiana has turned him into a man.

Perhaps he's ready to be one of the big dawgs on  a young and developing talented squad.

If he loves Larry then surely he'd appreciate where Larry came from and where he gained his greatness.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Depends on the money.  But I think that Stephenson looks like a better all around player than either Bradley or Green.  IMO if you can get LS, you then trade AB and JG for other assets or cap relief/picks.

If this were a poll. and "A lot" were an option, i'd pick it.
Every year there are 6-7 teams with a lower winning percentage than our current record. I think we've gotten so used to ignoring the bottom feeders since 2008 that we've forgotten how bad some teams are.

The thing is, I wouldn't throw $12-13 million at a 'perhaps'.  for that kind of money, I want a known quantity that's an established team building block.

I think he's better than AB and Green, as others have used as a value-setting comparison, but I think he'll be offered more money than he's demonstrated he's worth.  As I mentioned, I wouldn't sign him at this stage of the rebuild, only after we have a couple of building block type players in place.

MLE at most.

Unless the player is a star (and Stephenson is not) or a near star big man, do not throw a lot of money at them.

Exceptions are if you are a contending team and you want to keep the band together.

ZERO!

If you hated Antoine's wiggle than run in the other direction, he has that annoying side of him X10!!! Parades up and down the court dancing like a jackass!

Even worse anytime he gets an 'and 1' he makes the tough guy face and swings his shoulders around like a thug, just like Lebron! I would pay BIG money to watch both of them get close lined going to the hoop, hate them with a passion.

Is there zero chance that hes a star?

I do find players like him or bledsoe or Rondo intriguing if you can get them at a decent price and perhaps get a "steal" of a contract.

Hopefully Danny isnt just looking at a list of all stars like Kevin Love, Melo etc and thinking outside the box as well

I would be shocked if he left Indy. I don't like the fit with Rondo but If the Cs luck out in the draft and draft Exum I would then move Rondo and offer Lance 11-12 mill a season.

Tyreke Evans is getting 11.7mill this year. He is a good comp for Lance. Stats, position and age wise they are comparable.

And I would say Evans is very overpayed.
