Good find > Tommy point

Love this kid and hope he's our 3rd string center next season. That kid is one tough SOB.

I like having that enforcer mentality on my bench. Not dirty, just tough, tough, tough. Anyone gets physical with us, send in Sully & Colt, put a stop to that real quick.

One of my favorite summer league moments was when Andrew Nicholson was really banging Olynyk  around and Kelly just didn't have the strength to deal with him.

Off the bench come Iverson. He gets into it with Nicholson and after about two trips up and down the floor, Nicholson decided he'd had enough. it was awesome.

The C's could use some toughness and it would be a dream if CI could somehow come in and fill the old Perk role. I even just like the idea of him scrimmaging against KO and Vitor next year--presuming Vitor is still here.

100% agree. I think he would have been fine as a 3rd string center 'this" year but I understand having him get minutes in Turkey.

I'll be surprised if he isn't on the team next season.

I don't give a rats' ass about his offense; if he can defend the pick + roll and grab some rebounds, he'll have a job in the NBA for the next ten years.

Really?

How many second round picks never make it to the NBA?

I understand the percentages for second round picks.

My gut feeling is that "Colton Iverson" will make his way to an NBA team as a 3rd string center.

As the bird said - if he can defend, rebound and set great  screens, he'll find a home.

I won't.  I could easily see his rights being traded this offseason as filler in a deal.

Maybe he will be traded, we'll see.

I'd 100% put him in as 3rd string center. Cheap, tough guy at the end of the bench with a great team attitude.

Love it.

what might be interesting is a bench of olly and iverson. their skills and play might match up well together.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

If Iverson improves and turns into a decent defender and rebounder, I agree it could be effective. You'd want other shooters at SF and OG as well.

Iverson just needs to be an defensive anchor.

Agreed--CI and KO are very complementary as a front court.

I expect KO to be a very good starter. Would love to see CI progress to a Perk-level starter, but not at all convinced of that yet.
