If we got a defensive center.

It would be a very interesting lineup having Kelly as a stretch 4 playing alongside a defensive center and Rondo at the point.

Danny drafted Kelly to play with rondo. Nothing besides that.

I wouldn't be surprised if in the future Sully becomes a Great 6th man.

Rondo
Avery
Scoring SF( parker/wiggins) (become stars)
Olynyk
Defensive center

Would be a title contender.

I would love to see

Rondo
Avery
Melo
Olynyk
Embiid

Probably wouldn't happen but is ridiculous amount of skill and a large front court two 7' and a 6'8 Melo.

Rondo and Sully are fine.

Green, Bass, and Bradley are the problem.

KO is still unknown.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I'd go along with this except wouldn't call those 3 a problem so much as they're bench players that have been pushed into starting roles

I agree with slamtheking's sentiment -- I don't think these guys are 'the problem' except in the sense that we really need more talented and well-rounded players at those spots in the starting lineup.

DA doesn't overrate these players; it's the fans.  DA knows exactly what they are but he wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't trying to upgrade.
