Why is everyone so intent on trading Humphries??? the guy is one of the few players producing right now!!!

To bring him back for next season, you might have to pay him Bass money and promise him a decent chance at starter minutes.  Are you willing to do that?  If not, then you should be interested in getting something back for him before you lose him for nothing.

The guy only played 11 minutes!!! and I think Hump is allowed one off night. God knows how many we've given Mr. Green!!!

Brad Stevens rode the hot hand in Olynyk (I think).

Hump played 11 minutes and still grabbed 6 boards. Also ran the floor, allowing himself to be hit by Rondo's dime.

I kind of absolutely want Brad Stevens to play Hump over Bass. Bass got 20 minutes.

Seems Olynyk and Hump are sharing minutes while Bass gets his 20-25 no matter what.

Bass does seem to bring a lot of stability and probably a lot of stuff a casual fan like me doesn't see (got a mention in the "film room all star team", where players are honored for what they do on the floor that doesn't show up on the stat sheets).

As a fan, watching defense from Bass isn't anything spectacular barring the occasional block. His offense, likewise, isn't exciting except for the occasional dunk.

Perhaps trading Bass would help with the tanking cause a lot more. And I'm not even a tanker. A win-win. I get to watch Hump hustle, the team probably loses a little more.

Though it seems lately, Hump has been getting the minutes. He has been out here and there with injuries so perhaps it was injuries holding him back last game.

Here's to hoping less Bass and more Hump, for utterly selfish reasons on my part.

Blocks are overrated.  Without having watched a lot of games closely, I would guess that Bass is better than Humphries and Olynyk in terms of being where he is supposed to be on the floor.

His defense isn't spectacular. It's solid and consistent, and that alone puts him well above average.
