Sully -- 27.2% on 81 attempts
Vitor -- 30.6% on 35 attempts
Olynyk -- 30.3% on 33 attempts

Of course, Crawford is shooting a little better than 32% from behind the arc, so maybe the big guys are not that bad.  :)

And your bonus shooting stats: Phil Pressey is shooting 11.5% from behind the arc, 25% overall from the field and 57.9 percent from the line.

Gerald Wallace is shooting 37.5% from the line --  :o

The league average on threes is roughly 36%. So if KO or Vitor had made 2 more threes this season they'd be league average. Sully's missed his last 10, I'd say his hand is hurting that shot. Before that 0-10 stretch he was only 3 makes away from league average. So, considering their ages, they're doing pretty well IMO.

Did Sully ever shoot over 30% this season?   I don't think so.  I love him down low where he can board but he lacks skill at long range shooting.  He had games that he shoot better but for the season he has hovered around 25% not 36%.

Yes he has. November, for example, he shot 32% from 3.

He was over 30% for the season up until Dec 20th or so, I think the only reason he's below that level is his hand.

The 3pt shot is a necessary evil in sullys game. The basketball purist in me hates it but I understand why he has to take it. Keeping apposing bigs honest a d not letting them play to fare off on D is a huge advantage to the team on oftence. If the Cs eventually add a true center and move sully to his natural pf this will become more true. Say the Cs add asik, he isn't a post threat so most teams will put their #1 post defender on sully. His 3pt shot will pull this player away from the rim.
As long as sully never gets the walker mind set He can still be my favorite celtic.

Small thing I notice, pressey handles the team better than Crawford BUT being undersized and a defensive liability he MUST be able to shoot (think Dana barros) or sadly he won't last in nba long

I agree with you, but I do think he can get away without having three point range ala Tony Parker or Andre Miller (both guys who are larger than Pressey, and almost certainly better at basketball)
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Isn't Crash hitting a third of his 3's though?

Agree, I stand corrected,  but not in December.  He shot .26%.

Shoots them better as a C than a forward.

Sure, his percentage has gone down since he's been noticeably hampered by a hand injury. That happened (more or less) in December. His overall fg% has nosedived as well.

To present him as a good shooter from there is stretching it.  He is a very mediocre three point shooter.  All our bigs are save Green.

Right now there's too small a sample size to say whether or not any of our bigs aside from Green are going to be good or bad three point shooters. But it's worth adding some perspective, they're not that far below the league average for PFs or Cs shooting threes, in fact they're not that far below the league average for threes. It's not like Sully's hitting 10% of his threes.
