Although he probably wont find all that much opportunity on a stacked Florida roster that is currently ranked number 7 in the nation, Chris Walker may finally be able to showcase his talent and skill level against some real competition.

Every bit as athletically impressive as many of the top prospects, Walker has a well developed frame and an intriguing skill set that should lead to him sky rocket up some draft boards if he can crack Florida's rotation and provide them with quality minutes. Thankfully although academically ineligible to play, Walker has practiced with the team all year.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He'll have a good shot of making the court. He was an All American in high school.

He's an incredible mixture of athleticism and agility on a Durant level with
*the length of Josh Smith
*the hops of Terrence Ross
*the handles of tracy McGrady

Although I doubt he can shoot it at an NBA clip yet. Incredible prospect and definitely worth a gamble if you can get him around 12-15.

He's more McGrady than Wiggins to me.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

It's nice to see some of the far off prospects beginning to materialize. Now that we know that Exum is on his way he seems more real with people actually being forced to compare him with Wiggins/Parker/Embiid.

I think getting some real playing time could have a similar effect with Chris Walker. If we could take a flier on him with our second pick it would be a massive boost to this team's athletic ceiling.

If Walker plays well then he is a fast learner.  If he doesn't , then it might be better for him to stay another year

Watching the mcdonalds american game, i saw some impressive flash, but he still needs to learn the fundementals. Some guys on the court already had it, so they are ahead a little

Somebody said walker could be like a Stromile Swift, and it could be all possible. Perimeter game is mediocre and still too thin.

Nice post...TP to the OP.

I've been waiting for this kid to play.

Was that a crossover at about the 1:02 mark?

Very slick for a big guy!

when i was watching his HS mixtape I thought he was one of the most craftiest and smooth players plus he is 6'10"... they say his weight is 188... that has to be a misprint?? He does need some weight but 188? Since he is always fighting for eligability can he declare for draft after spending a year in school?

I wish I could find the link but I read somewhere he was playing poorly in practice.  If he is anything like Swift stay away.

Looks like top 10 talent on video. I would advise him to stay in and come out next year. But then again.  Bennett looks like a bust, so hard to say with all these one and dunners.

Walker has more upside imo bc he is a legit 6'10 with length.

Bennett is a 6'6 tweener
