This guy is looking like an NBA MVP type player in his second season.
20.7 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks per game in 35 mins per game.
The Pelicans are 6 and 6 and it's his second year in the league.
Just amazing. Against LA earlier this month he OWNED Pau Gasol with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks.
He broke Shaq and Chris Webbers age record for a game with 30 points,10 rebounds and 6 blocks- he's now the youngest player ever to hold that stat line.
Obviously it's early in the season- but the only players to have a stat line of 23, 11 and 4 blocks as an average over a season are Abdul Jabbar, Robinson and Olajuwan.
Only 68 games to go

In all seriousness though, he's looking brilliant.
When he's on the floor the Pelicans are outrebounding their opponents by 7 rebounds per 48 mins. When he's off they're being out rebounded by 12 boards per 48. Point differential? +6 per 48 when he's on, and -11 per 48 when he's off.
What a pick up for New Orleans- a team that's had so much crappy luck.
Here's the highlights vs LA....Good ESPN article below the vid.
