Defensively, I Klynyk has been much better than I expected.  He's not an imposing physical force, but he seems to know where to be and he has quick hands and feet and looks like he knows how to bother people in a sneaky, unorthodox kind of way.   I thought that he showed this particularly in the last two games, not so much the first two.

I am very pleasantly surprised that he can play defense at the center position.  I would go so far as to say that to me he looks like our best defensive center.  This means that we should be able to pair him up more with Sully moving forward.

That's exciting.

I am happy too that he's been able to hold his own in that regard.  If he can pull centers away from the basket and pass around them that will be great to pair with Sully, who has started to show some range himself.  And Sully looked great vs ZBo last night.  I hate to see Sully having to play centers because he can do work backing down even some of the strongest PFs in the league.

All that space in the post will be great for Rondo and Jeff and whoever might be on this team in the future.

I think Olynyk has a very well rounded skill set for a big guy.

But he looks like he's hesitant right now out there as someone said. He's thinking through the game to much. Sully was similar early on last year. Both guys are siad to have very high BBIQ's.

But he does a lot of good things, good complimentary player.

Once he settles in it wouldn't surprise me to see him average 12 points, 3-4 boards, and 1-2 steal and assists over the second half of the season.

If he gets confidence going he could start lighting it up, he's getting good looks and we know he can shoot.
