It's like those trade ideas involving Rondo to "
help" us get rid of Wallace.
In my opinion, there isn't right or wrong in managing a basketball team 60, 70, 80% of the time.
That's why even though I hate tanking, I wouldn't argue against it (although it does tend to get on my nerves the way some rub it in my face).
But trying to "get rid of Wallace" at this point in time by packaging valuable assets - when cap space is absolutely meaningless, when you want to keep as many prospects as possible, when you aren't looking to sign a free agent, when you aren't looking to win a championship any time soon this season - I'm pretty is wrong.
This is not to mention that Wallace has shown that he still has quite a bit of value as a vet, as a leader and as a basketball player. Even if you think of him as nothing but washed up player with a bad contract, I just don't agree with doing this.
