Call it the Bass problem if you want. His ability is known, he's good, he executes like a veteran, and he can help a team (but not lead it) in victory. He's ready to go, but should he play over the more talented but not ready KO?
That leads us to the question: Who are the most talented 5 players, and who are the most ready. Lineups will probably consist of some mix of the two, but first a who's who.
Most talented:
Rondo
KO
Sully
Green
Vitor? Crawford?
Most ready:
Wallace
Bass
Bradley
Sully
Lee? Green?
So...who plays most, and who doesn't at all (given the positional overlap)?
Which matters more in getting playing time this season?
Should the expiring veterans just sit around, since there's no point in playing them (Redundant and inferior players Hump, Bogans, and now Brooks, a combined max contract salary pile of expirings waiting for a trade, I say). Bottom of the bench, no need to showcase or whatever. They are who they are, and they're well enough known.
