Knew Scal was coaching so that's not a surprise at all.
Though Tanguay was not the most knowledgeable, I liked him nonetheless, being such a homer and from Maine.
Marshall is into Marshall, as always, so I could care less about his absence, and he has nothing left to talk about since Ray's departure and the end to the whole "My old team-mate and best buddy, Ray" crap.
Always liked Greg, but knew what he was going through and expected a drastic limiting of his time on camera due to the seizures.
Draper's OK, but I'm ambivolent there ... love Abby Chin - she's smart, knowledgeable, and very easy on the eyes.
As long as Tommy and Mike are still the core, I can deal with the rest, although Ainge, Herren, Cowens, Welsh and Mannix will be an interesting/odd mix.
I didn't realize anything was up with Dickerson, and upon googling I'm really inspired by his efforts in retrospect.
Hopefully it was a mutual decision regarding all three of them. They'll be missed. At least, I'll miss them--thinking about it now, I rather enjoy broadcaster continuity.
And it's 100,000,000,000% not happening but Bill Walton would be rad. I could listen to him talk about anything.
Wow. You'll miss Donny Marshall AND would love to hear Bill Walton talk all day?
I don't think we could be further away from agreement on this one.
Dumbest Bill Walton moment. I forget what year it was but it was one of the 2000 or 2001 Lakers championship runs and during a game where the Lakers were loosing and couldnt get back on track Walton says..."My real question here is....What did Brian Shaw do wrong?" As if the 36 year old 12 minutes per game 12th man was going to completely turn the Lakers around. What a moron.
LOL! (TP)
Gotta agree, PJ ... can't
stand listening to Bill yap on endlessly, trying to impress everyone with his vocabulary, (which he often misuses). Reggie Miller is the only other person who works as hard as Bill at trying to impress with his vocab, (then follows it up with a double-negative or a complete flob), and is even more inept and intolerable, (IMHO). Loved Bill on the court, hate him as a broadcaster.
