Wonder if players such as Collison/Hickson are just sacrificing paychecks/playing time for the sake of playing for contenders...knowing how tough it will be with LeBron in the league and other teams loading up. Hickson only getting MLE money seems odd.

Nuggets are not close to being contenders.  They are fighting to make the playoffs out West.
