His shooting would have to pick up tremendously IMO. Not skilled enough to be a PG, to small to be a SG, he could be a combo guard off the bench on a good team. If he's your starting SG you better have a lot of scoring from other positions. Not to mention he is injury prone.

in the future, i think he'd still be a solid and consistent role player, basically a player a contending team would love to have. I see him developing a consistent corner 3, getting slightly better handles, and probably enough vision to play spot PG minutes to keep the flow of a team without turning the ball over too much. he'll keep getting better at cutting to the hoop and he'll get better on D. He's still not a playmaker, nor a guy who can really create his own shot off the dribble, he won't be an all-star, but he can be an important piece to a championship team, especially when he cuts down on TOs.

I think he would be best served to come off the bench and nuetralize and breka up the momentum of the other team's guard.   His offense is offensive, both as PG and SG, his defense is special.   He could completely take someone out of the game.  He is a hybird too short for point and doesn't have instincts and not a pure shooting guard so he is a combo guard.   His defense is special though.

I think he will eventually be a Chauncy Billups or Dennis Johnson type of PG and be solid.  He can shoot and otherwise score so I am not worried about his down year shooting last year.

My biggest concern is his lack of a left hand dribble last year.  I don't remember from prior years but I suspect his left shoulder may not have been 100%.  He needs to be able to take the ball with either hand of course.

My biggest concern with him is durability.
