This is really weird the Lakers have put up three huge billboard ads in strategic parts of the city asking DH to STAY in LA.

The NBA has now gone to the point of ridicule where the inmates are running the asylum. I wonder how Kobe feels about this love being thrown at DH.

If I represent DH I have only one question for the Lakers, will you trade Kobe to get younger players so that this can truly be Dwight's team. If DH cannot angle for his own team at this point in his career he does not deserve the money or love being thrown at him.

I'm laughing about it just because we're already hearing he's not coming back, at the same time I'm finding out about the billboards.   ;D

I think Kobe has a no trade clause, so he would have to be amnestied.

If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Because it worked so well for Cleveland. This is pathetic.

The Lakers are utterly swimming in money, makes sense that they'd spend a little to make a public push.

Even if it very likely does 0 to actually sway Howard, it's also a very public show to the fans that they're trying hard to keep him.  It's PR for the franchise either way.

Not sure if Dwight staying at the Lakers or leaving the Lakers will hurt them.

Lose/lose situation?  ;D

if he really wanted to stay and was a Laker at heart , he would have signed months ago , just to prove he is  on broad with the program.

I think , when somebody take s them this long to make a decision ,   the decision to leave has already been made.   He is just prolonging the drama and being childish. because he loves attention, like a small child

I'm betting be goes to Houston of LAC.

Lakers maybe better off with out him........he never seems to mature ..or grow up intellectually ,

same 7 th grade IQ
