The Big 3 Era ends when we stop trying to win the title with this core group and start rebuilding.no i don'tthe big 3 are pp kg and rayis this the end of the KG era? sureI think a lot of our failures last year had a lot to do with trying to relive the 'big 3'paul pierce was a shell of himself. kg was on his last legs. jet was not ray allen. lb wasn't ray allen. lee wasn't ray allen. but we continued to run those ray plays and play like we didn't have anyone else on the team.didn't see success until we started pushing the pace and putting the ball in other people's hands. reverted end of year/playoffs

So, what are the picks? Can't be back-to-back years, according to the Stepien Rule. So, Celts get a late 1st in this year's weak draft, and another in 2015? Or does the first pick not come until 2014, and the 2nd in 2016?
2014 and 2016
Actually...now that I'm thinking about itThis offseason is funnyWe could tank and try to get wiggins or parker...But we could also probably still land Josh Smith and Al Jefferson and potentially even someone else like ellis for bradley and pull out a lineup ofRondo/Monta/Green/Smith/Al and I think that would be great

Someone explain to me how we would be able to get both Monta and Smith. We can't sign them both outright, so at least one (if not both) needs to be in a S&T. What do we have that either team wants? Bradley? I don't think his trade stock is so high right now. Sully? Maybe. Are they gonna take our garbage contracts in Lee, Terry, and Bass? You can bet your tuckus they won't, and not counting Pierce that's the only way to get the money to work.So we'd need to trade Pierce to MIL or ATL under the condition that they would cut him so he could join KG and Doc in LA. Do you really think ATL would sign and trade Smith for Pierce and Bradley only to be stuck with the 5mil guaranteed of Pierce's contract? They'd be better off just letting Smith walk. Same deal for MIL and Monta.Getting just one of Monta or Smith would be hard. Both is near impossible.
