I was thinking last night of whether Phoenix might give up the #5 pick to get in on that BOS-NO idea of Pierce for Eric Gordon, considering Phoenix made him that big contract offer that NO matched last offseason.

NO gets financial relief and Avery Bradley
BOS gets the #5 pick
PHO gets Eric Gordon

Suns would have to send out some payroll as well to make the numbers work, though. Can't just absorb Gordon's contract.

Jordan a top 10 center? Here's the list of guys who are bigger impact players at that position. He's still young and has potential to become that guy (its happened late for plenty of bigs)

We get Gortat. That list is power forwards. Ii mean 7 foot centers who only play that position, ie Gortat with Nash. With Rondo he'd probably return to that top tier getting so many easy looks like Shaq did.

I think the list stands for Gortat. Maybe take off Nene, Drummond, and a few others but he's still far from top 10

The list is of players who play the C position in the league this year. The fact that you don't think they're "center like" enough doesn't really matter beyond the fact that teams line up and play them at Center.

Aldridge plays quite a bit of C, Bosh plays C now, Sanders plays C, Duncan/KG play C now, same with Gasol, Noah is a C even if undersized a bit, etc.

Personally, I don't think the Celts really benefit greatly from this.

I think if the Celts were keeping KG and then getting Gortat would be AWESOME.

However, if you're dealing KG then it almost defeats the purpose of landing another veteran big man in Gortat.
