I don't see the four players mentioned as fitting into a certain "type" unless by "type" you mean good big men.

That's like saying that Steph Curry, Derrick Rose, and Steve Nash are all the same type of player, though.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Sure and if they traded Ray for OJ Mayo they would have "Gotten Rid" of ray allen.  Allen finished the season with the celtics, was offered the most money by the celtics, and he signed elsewhere.

Please be more honest and deal with facts

and change all system
we will be back on track next year

Change the entire offensive system?

Also, you are aware that last year Danny signed a player, Sean Williams, very late in the year to a non-guaranteed contract for this year. He was shipped out in an off season trade that netted a much better player.

This year we have a surplus of 2 guards(Lee, Crawford, Bradley, Terry) and a surplus of contracts for end of the bench players on non-guaranteed contracts(Williams, White Randolph). I don't see any of the non-guaranteed contracts being on this team and at least one SG going as well.

I smell an off season trade.

So I wouldn't be making plans for those players for next year just yet.

So you are telling me us acquiring Lebron, Dwight, and Kobe next year wouldnt effect whether or not you wanted to resign Terry this offseason?

No but he is making more money than Ray because the free agent contract Terry signed with the Celtics is more than the free agent contract Ray signed with the Heat.

If Ray had decided to sign with the Celtics, he would have been making more money than Terry and playing better than him.

Was a horrible mistake to invenst on Terry and get rid of Ray Allen... ???

Can you tell me how the celtics got rid of ray allen?

Be more honest pealse...DA put Ray Allen 2 seasons in row for trade...mostly close to tradeline time during middle of February. Since DA signed Terry, was clear not singing Ray anymore.

Your timeline is slightly messed up.

Yes, Danny shopped Ray around at trading deadline.  That part's correct.

But he didn't sign Terry to be Ray's replacement.  He signed Terry at the same time as he offered a deal to Ray - he wanted both because we needed both, since Avery was going to start the season on the inactive list.

Terry never really was ever meant to be a 'replacement' for Ray Allen.   He's too small and a different sort of player.

AFTER Ray decided to decline and take less money with the Heat, Danny THEN traded for / signed Courtney Lee to be Ray's replacement.

I think he is telling you that it's a moot question because Terry is _already_ signed for next season (and the season after that).

If you rephrase your question as, "whether or not you want to keep Terry on the roster", then it might make sense.

Of course, then you have to find a workable trade if you want him off the roster.  The C's probably don't want to just eat his salary.
