Miami's Big 3 will play, KG and Pierce to sit

the way i see it is we've played this team 3 teams with 3 of our own diff teams (first game of season with Rondo + new, awful pieces, 2nd game no Rondo but Sully, 3rd game no KG)...hopefully this is just strategy to keep them guessing if we do happen to meet in the playoffs.

Miami's stars seem to feel beating up on the Celtics will be a good time in front of the home crowd.  I'm willing to bet these guys try to obliterate us.

I have no problem with Doc sitting KG and Pierce tonight. Both have had some issues of late and this game neither means much, nor does it really look like we have much chance of taking it to the Heat on their home court.

I'm not shocked that the Heat are going to start their big 3. Its a power play. They want to dominate the Celtics at home while we rest our stars.

I'd like to see us get real physical tonight, especially if the Heat run it up. Wade wasn't expected to play again until the playoffs and the only reason he will be on the court tonight is to stick it to the C's while KG and PP are out. I want to see him get knocked on his ass.

Don't let them take this game and turn it into a laughingstock. They are taking a chance running those guys out there purely to show us up (if you don't think thats the reason then look at the rosters they've run out the last few weeks, sitting everyone for "soreness"). If they want to take that chance I want somebody in the lane reminding them that we aren't going quietly. We aren't going to treat them like the divas they are.

We probably lose by 20, but I want to see some heart from the rest of this team and more importantly some toughness.

This will be a good test for Jeff Green. No Pierce and KG so he'll get all the touches he wants. Time to see if he can score against a quality defense without PP or Garnett being a decoy. He's coming off two consecutive weak games so I don't think he should get a pass for another sub-par outing.

I think Pierce and KG playing against Miami and playing against Orlando are 2 different animals.

If they play Miami good chance they go at it HARD and Doc would probably play them decent minutes as they are alwasy such hyper competitive games.

Not that they would slack or anything against Orlando but it's just a different intensity level and Doc would probably prefer not to have KG and Pierce bang against Miami than Orlando.

That could be a reason as well as a little gamemanship on Doc's part
