Today is a birthsday of Celtics legend and one of the most underated players in NBA history, John "Hondo" Havlicek.
We all know what kind of player he was... but i have one question for older C's fans on this blog.
I read that 37-year old Havlicek played great versus Julius Erving in 1977 playoffs. But in more that one occasion i read that in mid 70's there was alot of exibition games versus NBA powerhouse Celtics and ABA powerhouse New York Nets and ABA MVP Erving. I read that Hondo dominated Dr.J in those games and i wonder if annyone has some recaps, boxscores or just memories of this games. Thanks
