In any case, I remember in 2010 he said he was going to cover Rondo because every player they put on him failed mightily. Either Mike Brown didn't think LeBron could do it or LeBron wasn't able to stay close enough to Rondo that people noticed he was trying to guard him.
Naw LeBron guarded him just fine, the issue was Rondo was able to feed Ray Allen/Pierce as now both had match up advantages over Parker/Williams. So Brown put LeBron back on Pierce after that.
Mo Williams = green light for whomever was out there that series lol.
Remember how Brown thought it was a good idea to have Shaq check KG, so KG hit about 4 straight jumpers to start one of the later games? Man that was a fun series.
To be fair then Antwan Jamison was back on KG, which went just about as well for them anyways.
He also tried Jamison at the 3 and had LeBron guard KG. LeBron did okay on KG iirc. But then Jamison had to "guard" Pierce.....
Definitely a fun series, I still think the Cavs could have had a chance if they'd just rolled with Hickson/LBJ more and tried to out quick the Cs. Instead they tried to play power basketball with us when they had 2 they had to hide on defense and a center who couldn't move enough to play help defense.
