Music to my hears

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

I will go on record now as saying that the signing of Jason Collins and Darko Milicic were an effort to find a player who could play center next to KG. We have even seen Wilcox and Sullinger cast in the role. The only one so far who hasnt been speculated is Fab Melo.

I think that at a minimum, the first four are randomly played next to KG as centers early in the season to find a suitable player for the role.

Obviously KG will still eat plenty of minutes at the 5 this year.

Absolutely.  Those guys were brought in to play minutes at the 5, both when KG is on the bench, and against certain matchups when KG is on the floor.

Danny has built a roster with a lot of flexibility to match up with basically anyone.

I think KG is at his best at Center the majority of the time.  He just has a bigger advantage over most centers in the league, and it also allows us to put out best starting lineup out there with Bass.  But there are teams (like LA) where we will need two centers to play together.  And there are other times where we can really exploit undersized teams by going big.

But at this point in his career KG is more center than PF.  And it is good that he is realizing it.
