Most of the bars in any given city open after 8pm these days promotes some sort of sexuality with their staff.

There are a ridiculous amount of bars out there (at least in the cities) where the girls would be accused of being hookers if they weren't working behind a bar or on the floor of the establishment.

Tilted Kilt is nothing different than any of these other bars other than the fact that they promote it a little more heavily.

These city councils need to get their heads out of the 1950s and look at society around them.

This shouldn't be a big deal at all.

I love how Wal-Mart handled a situation like this in my community.

When wanting to expand a lousy facility and build a Super Wal-Mart, our city council rejected them...Several times.  The property they bought to relocate was on the edge of the city limits.  So they bought...(essentially on consignment) a farm plot right next to it outside of the city limits.  Essentially told them that they could build on one side and the city would collect their local option sales tax or on the other side....And they wouldn't.

It opened where they wanted it to open last month.

while that might be true, the location is is in a residential area with some businesses thrown in the mix. i think people in that area have the right to voice there disapproval for not wanting it in their "backyard". i wouldnt want a hooters or titlted kilt near my home either

no different than residents not wanting strip clubs or casinos in their residential area.

like i said, tilted kilt will go somewhere else and profit
