What is going on with all the NFL player arrests lately?

It is getting crazy the amount of arrests of high level NFL players in the last couple of weeks.

Adrian Peterson (resisting arrest), Marshawn Lynch (DUI), Elvis Dumervil (suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon), Dez Bryant (Dom. Vio. against mother), Nick Fairley (DUI), and Justin Blackmon (aggravated DUI - .24 blown)

Not to mention TJ Ward was in a nightclub scuffle where security had to pepper spray people, though no arrests were made in that case.

Seems like a great deal more incidents then I remember in recent times especially involving high level players. There is also the Jason Kidd DUI and Tony Parker's injury at a nightclub (though that seemed to be wrong place wrong time) from the NBA side of things.   

Just a crazy summer in the legal realm for NFL players.

Gronk hasn't been arrested but I was just hearing on the radio about some hilarious behavior with his brothers at the ESPYs

In all fairness, of the guys you mentioned

Lynch
Bryant
Fairley
Blackmon

Have all been known to be punks for many years.  I don't know if dumervil and AP had bad pasts.  But these players listed getting into trouble isnt surprising.
