This was hilarious.

Bill Simmons said this and it's true: Sucks for the Lakers to have a likable player.  When is the last time that happened?

Don't wish him well on the court this year.

Steve Nash is awesome. He's the funniest guy in the NBA, and by far the easiest to like.

Hope he wins a ring before he retires.

Not before we win one though.

Can't hate Nash. Can't hate him.

I agree. There's gunna be too many mixed emotions when I see him in that uniform.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Exactly. It's gonna be weird. It's like seeing a friend leave :(

He is not a friend or he is not an enemy. Just a rival.
If you are a Celtics fan, you wish to ring only for Celtics.

Who cares Nash rings!

That's one of the best things I've seen in a while. What a dude.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I have no problems rooting for Nash in the West, while a Celtics fan I was too young to witness the rivalry in the 80's, and the current rivalry isn't near as strong. Besides, I don't despise Kobe and his crew like I do Wade and his, I actually have respect for Kobe's game and find Gasol quite likeable.

Now that they've got Nash (one of my favorite players, and has been for quite some time), I'll be rooting for the Lakers as long as they aren't playing the Celtics.

You always have to remember though, the Lakers are ONE championship behind us. ONE. They cannot win before us. It really cannot happen.

That's only if you're counting the Minneapolis championships. The LA Lakers have 11.
TP I love this way of thinking.

Too bad Nash had to go to the Lakers. I was rooting for him to win a championship if the Celtics don't get the 'ship. Can't root for him anymore. Cool dude regardless.
