This team was better in the second half of the season and made a deep run in the playoffs because of two things: Avery Bradley's development, and KG's resurgence.

Would have loved Ray back for his shooting but lets be honest, this team was not a better team then it was at the beginning of the year because of Ray Allen. He barely played the second half of the year, and he shot horrible and played less than stellar defense in the playoffs.

Does he help the Heat? Of course. They are adding more fire power to an already dominate army.
Is he the difference from us getting right back to where we were last year, I dont think so.

its pretty obvious that we are a better team with avery starting than with ray starting.  I can only hope that he has the same effect on miami's record as he had on ours.  we lose with him starting.

I am going to join the happy with it club.

Ray has played quite well the past five years but his skills are clearly declining.  Father time is still undefeated.

I think he will take away as much as he adds to the Heat. Outside shooting was not a big need for them they already have guys to hit those shots.

Lebron will run himself ragged trying to help Ray on D.

I think two years twelve million is too much and am glad he did not take it. I am hoping we sign MP as our big guard. Jet is a very good replacement for Ray better all around game at this point.

Doc's job just got a whole lot easier.  He basically just needs to manage KG's minutes and find someone to play good D when KG is on the bench. Hopefully Melo can get up to speed ahead of expectations.  Jeff Green should make it possible to get Pierce enough rest.
