I'm hoping Perry Jones falls to us. He may be RAW, but I think on both sides of the ball he is one of the most talented big men in this draft.

My other choice would be Harkless but its looking more and more that he isnt gonna be there.

Perry Jones / Harkless / Tyshon Taylor would be good.

Realistically, I think the Celtics only have one first rounder in this draft, in some deal with Houston if Houston can't tie up Howard or Smith.

Why would we trade two picks to Houston?  What would they need four first-rounders between 14-22 for, especially if they're unable to get Howard or Smith?  That's too many players to develop at once, much less be able to sign to long-term deals in a few years after you develop them.

Realistically, I will be very upset if DA trades two first rounders to move up 3-5 spots in a draft where there is little separation between the players at those spots, and when the team has 5 players under contract for next season, and had a crap bench this past season.

Having two picks like this allow us to take best available talent and also draft for need. Would not be surprised to see the celtics take a PG; but it has nothing to do with Rondo. It just so happens that there will likely be pretty amazing pg talent available in the 20's. Look at when Lowry and Chalmers went. We passed on them because we had Rondo; but this time we have the luxury of a second pick and a bunch of combo guards (bradley, moore, dooling) who can play off the ball.

There are so many quality players in that 10-20 range that it's very likely some of them will fall to us.

Odds are good at least one or two out of White, Sullinger, PJ3, Terrence Jones, Kendall Marshall will be available.  That's a pretty good mix of high potential and established D1 success to be considering at 21/22, but we'll have to see who's available first.

yep, if danny keeps his picks , I expect he will , we should get a minimum of one NBA talent ready player , and one NBA project  hopefully Mr Fabulous (Melo) or Festus E.

Lastly I don't see A. Rivers being available , too many admirers covetting him , but if for some accident he falls to 20 , I'm thinking DA takes him for better or worse. Maybe to Please DOc and family if nothing else.

I think Danny will take at least ONE CENTER ...even if it is a 51 pick.

I really want White and Terrance Jones, not that big of a fan in Nicholson. I love watching Terrance Jone's hustle and seems to have a pretty good offensive game.

Of possible people that can drop to us...
1. Sullinger, Terrence Jones, Royce White and Marshall are must take.
2. Perry Jones, Quincy Miller, Moe Harkless, Tony Wroten are high ceiling/high risk. (not a fan of any of these guys especially Jones and Miller)
3. Nicholson, Doron Lamb, Draymond Green, John Jenkins, Jeff Taylor, Marquis Teague will all be safe, solid picks with limited ceiling.
4. Fab Melo, Festus Ezeli long term projects with decent ceilings.

Sullinger and Melo
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.
