MKG = Without a consistent jumper, nor with range, nor ability to create his own shot well, he plays a game that of a PF better than SF. Always sticking around the basket, trying to get rebounds, trying to power in shots. Its going to be interesting how he transitions into the nba. Another Gerald Wallace or Iguadala
Thomas Robinson = Elton Brand #2. Just not tall enough to be a great pf in the league. Is going to struggle at times against taller players at both ends of the court
Damian Lillard = Sometimes pass first then shoot. Would be better as a sg, but lacks length
Jared Sullinger = Just like Robinson a inch or two, too short. Is actually a center. Will struggle in the nba against taller opponents who are just as strong
Andrew Nicholson = SF + PF. Shoot like a sf, but blocks like a pf. Post like a PF and dribbles like a sf. However two things that has prevents him from being a lotto pick is that, he passes like a pf and rebounds like a sf. Has to improve rebounding to excel in the nba
Royce White = Anthony Mason part 2. Plays defence like a C and tries to reach too much and body up on players , instead of using footwork. Has sf height, better suited to be a pf due to lack of quickness and plays D like a C
Draymond Green = Has some paul pierce in his game. Passing and rebounding are elite for a guy 6'6. Has a combination of both sf/pf games. But due to his stocky body, will have to play pf in the nba. I wonder how much better in shape he could get into. Especially how much quicker. If he lost 10-12 pounds (now 235) and added speed to hang with any sf's, he could be a huge steal in the draft.
Dion Waiters = A true Combo guard. Will have difficulties in the nba vs taller sg's and can't lead a team like a pg can.
anyone else i'm missing??
Nicholson and Green are intriguing prospects and we will have realistic chances to pick them. There are questions to what would happen to nicholson's game if he bulks up. Maybe it improves his rebounding, but hampers his mobility? Lights out during the tourney, even against high seeded teams will be hard to overlook.
With Green imo there are no questions. If he can lose 10-15 pounds and gain some speed, he will be a terrific sf in the nba.
