this is the game, I think it showed that the big 3 era is coming to an end and this is Rondo's team now....game 7 and the shots he made tonight, I am almost more comfortable with him closing games than pierce.

am I opposed to bringing the big 3 back?? for the right price, no...but if we want to have any chance we need to build this team like the spurs...

its time for an injection of youth..give Rondo the horses to play with on the basketball court.

Avery bradley, Jeff Green are a nice start...hopefully JJJ/Moore develop and our draft picks this year

I'm very proud of Rondo tonight. He played great and hes the leader of this team for years on out. I'm so p---ed at the refs for ruining this game for him he deserved the victory. The team deserved it

considering the way CP3 played in these playoffs im glad ainge didnt make that trade.

Rondo has been much more consistent with his 2 point shooting and has been pretty clutch with 3 pointers this year. If he can hit those consistently he becomes a top 10 player IMO

Refs ruined a magnificent performance tonight. Hats off to Rondo and here's hoping he brings this intensity in the Garden for games 3 - 4. Let's see if the refs can ruin games over there.

Rondo has games like this sometimes, but never consistently.  Best shooting game of his life tonight.  Still... Rondo on his best night wasn't enough to beat LeBron on a bad night.

Let's not under appreciate Rondo's teammates here.  KG remains the most consistent and important player on the team night in and night out on both ends of the court.  Pierce (when healthy) is still an allstar player and the best scorer we have on the team.  Ray (when healthy) displays some of the best shooting in the entire league.  Better point guards around the league would die to have the teammates Rondo has.  Tonight all three of the Big 3 displayed solid play.  As a team we shot about 50%.  This wasn't a game we were outrebounded in.  Our defense was solid.  We simply are not good enough to defeat Mighty King James and his supporting cast.  He's the best player in the league... it is what it is.

DOn't be fooled in thinking we can swap out KG, Ray and Pierce for the likes of Jeff Green, Chris Kaman and Josh Smith and suddenly be world beaters.  We'd need a franchise player to pair with Rondo to make real noise.  I'm not sure how ROndo will ever have teammates of this level ever again in his career.  It will take some kind of genius from Danny Ainge to find three guys that good in the next 6 or so years of Rondo's prime.

Everyone has known this for a while that this is Rondo's team. He did great tonight but we need more from the role players like what My Hammy got if we are to succeed from here on.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

im not saying we just swap out KG/pierce/Ray...those 3 can still be very good players in this league. KG has been fantastic this year.

but surround them with youth and depth, guys who can run with rondo. will go a long way..Rondo thrived with bradley because he finally had someone to run with.

We aren't going anywhere with a couple more healthy bodies add Green and Bradley spelling Pierce and Rondo this things probably knotted up at 1 and everybody would be singing a different tune. If we do fall I'm sure we'll be back next year and reload, I read a tweet earlier today by Jackie Mcmullan who said KG is coming back next year. The east aside from Miami and Chicago where D Rose will probably not even be back to form next year is still wide open.

LeBron got more points, rebounds and assists than he averages tonight. You can keep claiming that LeBron had a bad night in order to try and denigrate Rondo's performace, but that's not the case.

KG hasn't been any more consistent or important than Rondo in the playoffs. We won't go far without either of them, but KG's giving us 20/11/2 compared to 17/7/12 for Rondo. Better point guards would die to have the big three circa 2008 for teammates, not this year's version.

Rondo's playing with 2 all-stars and 2 below average starters (due to the health of our sgs). One of his teammates can create his own shot. I don't know that's such an unattainably talented team.

Even Lebron James--Bron, The King, His Royal Highness, The Great Almighty--doesn't put up 44/8/10 consistently.

Cut it out, man.  The kid is proving to be pretty good.

After this game I don't care about winning this (actually I do, I lied :()

Rondo has made me really really proud today. Showed us that he is able to lead this team in the future (assuming he stays and never gets traded). This team is working very hard and we should respect them.
